What is an email generator?
An email generator quickly creates a working email address. Unlike a fake email generator that only outputs strings that look like addresses, every address created here really receives mail: you can paste it into a website and get the verification email right away.
Random or custom?
- Username: click the random button for an easy-to-remember random username, or type your own.
- Domain: choose from multiple email domains; when there are many, expand the list and search.
- Random subdomain: a random string is added in front of the domain, e.g. [email protected], different every time.
- Custom subdomain: choose your own subdomain, e.g. [email protected], to keep things organized.
Mix and match these options freely. Random email addresses are extremely unlikely to collide, and you are told right away if an address is already taken.
Generate test email addresses for development
When testing signup flows, email templates or notifications, developers often need lots of different recipient addresses. Generate as many as you need with the email generator and switch between them in "My inboxes". Create an account and these test inboxes sync to it, so you can keep using them on another computer.
How to use it
- Enter or randomly generate a username, then choose a domain and address type.
- The full address to be created is shown above the button. When it looks right, click "Get this address".
- Copy the address and use it; new emails appear in real time in the inbox below.
FAQ
Are the generated email addresses real?
Yes. Every generated address can genuinely receive email and works immediately.
How many email addresses can I generate?
There is no limit. To prevent abuse, creating too many in a short time from the same network is temporarily rate-limited.
Can generated addresses be duplicates?
No. If an address is already taken you will be notified; just pick another username or use a random subdomain.
Can I choose my own username?
Yes. Usernames can contain lowercase letters, digits and the symbols . _ -
